Dr Haidee Benning is an Australian trained Practitioner who has also lived and worked in the South of France from 2011-2017. She has recently moved to Phnom Penh with her family and is looking forward to joining the team at the Natural Wellness Centre.
Haidee has worked in Natural Medicine for over 30 years. During this time she has helped over 100, 000 patients move towards greater health and wellbeing and continues her own journey through the study of Yoga, Qi Gung and a variety of Natural Medicine modalities.
Haidee practices Osteopathy, Ayurvedic Medicine, Acupuncture & Dry Needling, Cupping, Moxabustion, Herbal Compress and Zen Thai Shiatsu Therapy. As part of her Ayurvedic Medicine practice, she also incorporates Dietary, Nutritional & Mental Health Counselling and will prescribe herbal medicine when required.
Haidee presents modern medical knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Neurology in an easy to understand and accessible manner and incorporates the insights of Ayurveda, Taoism and Yoga in a practical and contemporary way to help her patients learn new life skills for self-cultivated healing and recovery.
Haidee also has a background in Nutrition, Shiatsu, Reiki, Pranic Healing, Reflexology, Exercise Physiology, and Sports Injury Rehabilitation and has worked with both elite athletes and social sports players in a range of spots including Surfing, Swimming, Diving, Tennis, Rugby, Football, Basketball, Golf, Dance, and Martial Arts. She has been a member of Osteopathy Australia for over 10 years and is more recently a member of CA (Chiropractic Australia for the past 10 years).
Haidee has also worked in Education, Sports, and Recreation and has worked with children from pre-school age right through to secondary age in a range of educational and recreational roles. She has worked in a variety of settings including Hospitals and Nursing Homes, Private Practice, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy and Chiropractic clinics and has Lectured in Anatomy, Physiology and Neurology at a tertiary Level.
Haidee helps people manage and heal from a variety of conditions including dietary, nutritional and functional disorders. Examples include Allergies, Digestive complaints, Hormonal Problems, Chronic Fatigue, Stress, Anxiety, and Mental Health issues.
On a Musculoskeletal level she treats a wide range of physical injuries. Some examples include sports injuries, Back and Neck Injuries, Spinal Disc Injuries, Headaches and Migraines, Chronic Pain Syndromes, Neurological disorders, work related injuries, repetitive strain injuries and Arthritis. She has a special interest in Chronic Pain Rehabilitation including spinal disc injuries with nerve root irritation that would otherwise require surgery.
