Osteopathy is able to identify and cure the source of physical pain or discomfort. It uses manual therapy such as stretching, massaging and adjusting a patient’s muscles and joints in order to remedy mechanical and visceral dysfunction.
Osteopathy is not only about “bone cracking” to rearrange the musculoskeletal framework, it is about ensuring the good disposition of each joint, tendon, organ and viscera to restore the flow of the different fluids and energies of the body. The result is the stimulation of the natural body defense mechanism and the harmonization of the organs and viscerals which provide a greater balance and health.
Osteopathy can be done for pregnancy women, babies until older patients.
An osteopathic session is about 45 min and it costs 50 usd. Insurance receipts are available for each session. It can be add the cost of dry needling if we need to do this.
The session takes place in 4 stages:
- A question-and-answer phase concerning your reason for consultation
- An osteopathic evaluation
- Osteopathic ajustments
- The final advises to keep the balancing
During the session, you will be asked to put on your underwear to facilitate the assessment. If, however, you do not want to undress, plan a flexible outfit in which you feel comfortable. Your comfort is essential.
